International Animation Day

October 28, the International Animation Day (IAD) was an international observance proclaimed in 2002 by the ASIFA as the main global event to celebrate the art of animation. The event was held by DSAF. The Slovenian Animated Film Association (DSAF) was founded in 2011 with an aim of supporting the field of animated film in Slovenia through a joint effort of the numerous authors and makers of animated film who are its members. Its door is wide open for international participants who would like to collaborate in various activities that would ensure a better system and conditions for animated filmmaking in Slovenia and abroad in the long run.

We contributed to the technical and logistical facilitation, generating the full programme for the all-day event, and managing the final DCP files for projection at the Festival.
